Karen Renzelli

As many of you know, Karen Renzelli has been fighting cancer since July.  Karen’s strong faith along with support and prayers from family and friends have provided her with the strength to continue the fight.  In late September, Karen underwent surgery to remove sections of her lung and lymph nodes.  She was discharged from the hospital and seemed to be recovering well.  Unfortunately, Karen took a turn for the worse and was readmitted to the hospital.  Karen has been in the Intensive Care Unit since October 6th.  Karen continues to fight but she’s had several setbacks that will require a prolonged hospital stay.  She has a long and difficult journey ahead.

Frank and Elizabeth have spent countless hours at the hospital with the wife and mom they love so dearly.  Frank makes daily trips from Clarksburg to Morgantown so Elizabeth can spend time with her mom while still attending school and playing volleyball with the Lady Irish.  As you can imagine, the medical costs of an extended ICU stay along with the costs of travel and meals add up quickly.
