Gentle Giant needs funding for medical surgery.
Kilo, a lovely 4 year old Wolfhound X currently in the care of the Fort McMurray SPCA (FMSPCA), is in need of knee surgery (bilateral tibial plateau leveling osteotomy, or TPLO procedure, as both his cruciate ligaments are completely ruptured).
Kilo came into the FMSPCA's care on March 5, 2015 and is an amazing boy. He is calm, sweet and obedient, and has quickly won over the staff's hearts.
The operation Kilo needs costs ~ $6000, with post-operative care involving medications and physical therapy for about 16 weeks, along with post-op radiographs to track his healing bones.
