At wit's end

These things always seem to happen around the Holidays, don't they?

After successfully managing for years to maintain equilibrium with numerous part-time jobs and production gigs, everything has happened at once and we're facing some challenges.

Our mortgage company is making some serious rumbles (though I'm confident of working that out), we're in danger of losing our health insurance, and then practically the entire plumbing system of our house has decided to call it quits. And oh yes, our HOA wants some work done on the exterior. Car repairs? New glasses? HA! Kick those cans down the road.

Is this enough to get us even for a while? Probably not, but it would certainly put us in a better position than we now occupy.

We've found a reasonably priced contractor to do the exterior work. If you know a plumber in the Stafford TX area that can work with us, that would also be helpful.

The mortgage and insurance are the most pressing, though, as they want action at the beginning of December.
