Samantha's Medical Bills

This year Samantha has spent the majority of her life in mental and behavioral health hospitals trying to get help, and get healthy. We have tried short-term hospitalization and short-term residential care, and in September she was accepted to a Therapeutic Boarding School. I chose this school because I believe that it has the greatest potential for Sam to learn her value, and how to move forward in life with all of the potential she has been gifted with. When she was accepted we believed that my insurance would cover a good portion of the cost, and I would have minimal additional expense. However, we were told yesterday that we have exhausted this year's maximum insurance coverage, and I will need to pay the monthly tuition (which is exorbitant, but worth it), or she will have to come home. The tuition is due on the 10th... yep I have less than 2 weeks to come up with my first payment, and then it will happen again in November, and again in December.

In the past 2 weeks I have seen my child smile again, and talk again, and laugh with me. She wants to be there, and she wants help... for the first time in a year. As an exhausted parent of a struggling child these small steps relieved some of the parental guilt of sending her away and the stress of being unable to help my child in her darkest hour. I felt like I had finally found the place my child and our family could heal.

I can't afford to keep her there on my own, but I can't make her come home without exhausting my options. I am asking you for money that I will never be able to repay. Please consider helping us financially, and/or with your prayers!
