Surgery for Simba

My husband and I rescued a three month old German Shepherd Dog a little over a year ago. He is a gentle giant, he loves babies more than any dog I’ve ever seen. Before he was eight months old he started limping, upon taking him to the vet, we learned he has a bad hip and elbow. Both on the right side and both needing surgery. We started him on expensive low protein food and medication which seemed to help for a while, but now he can barely walk. It is so heart breaking! My husband and I are retired, on social security, so unfortunately we can not afford the surgery. I have had a hard time asking for help but I know he is in terrible pain and I can’t do anything to help him. The vet says the surgery will make him like a new dog, no more pain. We would be so grateful for anything you can do to help! Every dollar will get us closer to helping our baby boy get the help he needs. We thank you in advance for your help!
