Running the NYC Marathon in honor of Ioanna Moore

On June 20^th, 2010, Ioanna, my wife of nearly 29 years was taken away from me.  She passed away from brain cancer, a terrible disease.  Ioanna was a very positive individual and believed that things would always work out for the best.  They always did until she was diagnosed with a brain tumor.  This debilitating disease crushed her spirit making the last three years of her life very hard; both mentally and physically.

As a result, Chris, Alexis and I have committed to do whatever we can to fight this dreadful disease and have established the Ioanna C. Moore Foundation to accept donations. 

The first is the NYC Marathon which I will run until I can no longer cross the finish line:.hopefully for the rest of my life.

Will you please support me in this endeavor?  All donations, small and large, will be gratefully accepted.  Click on the donate online button and help us begin the long journey ahead to cure this disease. The goal of the Ioanna C. Moore Foundation is to fight brain tumors and enhance the research that goes into finding a cure. Our ultimate goal is to rid the world of brain tumors by donating our proceeds to the foremost researchers in this field. The research will specifically target what causes the disease as well as new and innovative treatment options. We will be conducting regular fund raising events each year.
