Laura Martinez

My family and I never expected to have to go through the pain again.  None of us expected her cancer to spread throughout her body after the initial brain tumor was removed 7 years ago.  My mother, Laura Martinez, has always worked hard and has helped my sisters and I in many ways we can never repay. Unfortunately, she has developed a rare cancer called Hemangiopericytoma that has reached stage 4 and has caused her to grow tumors in her lungs, liver and bones throughout her entire body. This will require daily chemotherapy treatments  and test that will be ongoing. With not having the ability to work she was required to request FMLA 4 months ago and we don't know if and when she will be able to work again. Health insurance is no longer being covered and medical bills are becoming a big burden. Any donations will help pay for medical bills, prescriptions and all treatment expenses.
