Cancer medical treatment

Hi! Our mom Betty Lou Townsend was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2022. We are looking for financial help with travel, lodging and medical expenses. She has lived in Ridgecrest since 1970 and retired from NAWS China Lake. We know she is loved by so many wonderful people. She has completed her surgery, one round of chemo therapy and just started the second round of chemo. We expect to start radiation next week. We are reaching out in hopes to get some help with finishing her treatments. All appointments are out of town which can get quite expensive. Radiation is 5 days a week for 6 weeks and chemo will continue until February 2024. Thank you for your continuous prayers, love and support as Betty continues to fight this fight!
