Two weeks ago we found out that our daughter's kindergarten classmate was hospitalized. We are close with the Mora-Gonzales family and their son Alex. Over the last four years we’ve developed a close and meaningful relationship.
Alex recently lost his appetite and his parents noticed swelling in his abdomen. The concern of his parents grew and they took him to the pediatrician and later that day to the emergency room. Tests revealed that six year old Alex has been diagnosed with a agressive form of cancer called Non Hodgkin Lymphoma . Alex has three tumors in his abdomen and the cancer is spreading. He started a six-month regimen of chemotherapy on September 28th, 2015. Our positive thoughts and prayers are with Alex and his family.

Hace dos semanas nos enteramos que Hospitalizaron a el compañero de clase de Kinder de nuestra hija. Estamos cerca con la familia Gonzales Mora y su hijo Alex. En los últimos cuatro años hemos desarrollado una relación cercana y significativa. Alex recientemente perdió su apetito y sus padres notaron que su abdomen se le hinchaba. Creció la preocupación de sus padres y lo llevaron al pediatra y más tarde ese día a la sala de emergencia. Las pruebas revelaron que Alex de solo seis anos ha sido diagnosticado con una forma de cáncer llamado linfoma no Hodgkin. Tiene tres tumores en el abdomen y el cáncer se está extendiendo y comenzó un régimen de seis meses de quimioterapia el 28 de septiembre de 2015.
