About a year ago, I began building a webstore for top shelf glass from top shelf American artists as a means to try to assist artists in getting more fair pricing for their work. Tony was one of the first guys I reached out to, as I've personally been a big fan of his work and was honored that he was willing to work with me.
About a month or so ago, I had sent back a piece of Tony's that I had inadvertantly broken, reached out to him to see if it could be repaired. About a week later, I called just to ensure the piece made it to him ok and that's when he explained to me his current tragic situation which has compelled me to start this GoFundMe, in hopes those from the glass community and beyond might be willing to help.
Tony and his wife's infant son was born with Noonan's Syndrome, Cylothorax and Pulmonary Hypertension. They've been spending many painstaking days and nights in the hospital which has prevented Tony from getting time in the studio to create and provide for his family. I ask that you all help me take some of the financial strain off of the Fuscos, do the best we can to get Baby Fusco home where he belongs, and get Tony able to get back into the studio so he can continue to create and bring forth beautiful glass creations into the scene again, or at the very least shoot up a prayer on their behalf.
