Our dear friend, Mike, a loving father of five beautiful children, a devoted husband, and a decorated army veteran, has been bravely fighting a relentless battle against cancer since 2015. Mike's unwavering spirit and determination have carried him through this long and arduous journey, but he has now reached a critical point where he needs our collective support more than ever.

<div>Despite the odds stacked against him, Mike has faced each day with courage, resilience, and an unbreakable spirit. His family, whom he adores beyond measure, has stood by his side, providing him with the strength to keep pushing forward. As he enters the final stages of his chemo treatment, he's determined to explore alternative medications and experimental cancer trials that could offer him a fighting chance against this malicious disease. However, these treatments are not covered by his insurance, leaving Mike with a financial burden that he cannot bear alone.

<div>Mike's battle scars tell the story of his incredible fight – his body bears the marks of surgeries that have removed his colon, large intestine, left kidney, multiple lymph nodes, gall bladder, and even half of his liver. His sacrifices for his country and his loved ones are evident in every scar, a testament to his bravery and dedication. Now, it's our turn to step up and support him in his time of need.

<div>We have launched this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds that will go directly towards covering the costs of Mike's travel to these crucial treatment centers and the medications that could potentially slow down the progression of his stage 4 terminal cancer.
