Missi Cunningham has been battling Stage 3 breast cancer since last summer.
“I found out first in May that there was a problem. But then the actual diagnosis came after testing and things in June."
Dealing with chemotherapy has not been easy for Missi, who is undergoing her second round of treatments.
After a first round of chemotherapy, her doctors retested. Missi was told the first round of treatment did not work the way she and her doctors had hoped. She had to start a second round.
“Right now chemo is the only option”
With Missi being unable to work, copays, treatment expenses and the everyday living expenses are on the increase.
Missi is the first person to dive in there and help anyone in need and now she and her family need us to dive in there and help them. The community support has been wonderful and greatly appreciated by the family and we need to continue to show them our support and love and help them with the financial burdens of this terrible disease.
