Helping the Homeless in NYC

In a city of 8.5 million people, nearly 1 out of every 125 people are homeless.
People often take for granted the luxury’s of life that are viewed as a norm. Necessities such as shelter, heat, a bed to sleep on and food are things that the people suffering from homelessness are deprived of. This statistic sheds light to the harsh conditions that thousands of New Yorkers experience every single day.
Being very touched by this cause, I decided that I want to raise as much money as possible for the homeless of NYC by February 1st. With this money, I will be going to the city with my dad and personally giving out food vouchers, meals, and/or supplies to the homeless.
It would mean SO much for you to donate and it would help many homeless in our community.
