Hi, my name is Mai.  As many of you know, Hurricane Harvey has effected thousands of people in Texas including our Uncle. Although, they were fortunate enough to be rescued they have practically lost everything. So my sister and I wanted to create a Gofundme to help my uncle and his family get back on their feet and try to resume a normal life when this storm is over. Between my sister and I, I know we have the most loving, caring, and loyal friend's that anyone can possible ask for. We never ask for much and we are givers more so than not. But today is a different day and different set of circumstances. I know people say this type of stuff all the time about others they are close to. But my uncle and aunt are two of the most welcoming and giving people you could ever meet. This is why my heart hurts so much more than usual. Because it happen to them. They have lost literally everything. And my family and I are going to try our best to give them back their lives.

Hopefully with the help of my friends. Let's all make a group effort and band together and show my uncle and aunt what social media could create and do for a single family in need. I know that there are other misplaced families as well. But any donations will help and your heart can know exactly where it went and who it helped directly. With your donations,  it will help them back on their feet (missed work, clothes, furniture,  the cost of cleaning whats left of their home, food, rent, etc) We will need everyone's help.
