This fundraiser is on behalf of the Group Circular Head Coastal Awareness Group, who are an incorporated body fighting the inappropriately sighted Robbins Island Wind Farm. As a group, we have opposed the wind farm at several levels, including the Circular Head Council Approval process, followed by the TASCAT appeal, where as a group we were one of the several appellants.

The outcome of the TASCAT hearing appeared to be very biased towards the wind farmers, with all of the experts dismissed apart from the ACEN experts. Our Tasmanian experts such as Nick Mooney, The EPA, Eric Waller etc were all ignored.

As a result we have taken the fight to the Supreme court of Tasmania, with the hearing to be held in early 2025. We have organized a no win no fee Kings Council, but still require help with funds for the Solicitors, and costs such as accommodation, airfares etc. Please help!
