Max's Church Trip to Haiti

Ever since my third heart surgery in the summer of 2014, I have felt called to something bigger in my life. My surgery coupled with my realization of who Jesus Christ really is led me to a completely new life that I would have never thought I would live. I started to live my life as Jesus did, loving every person around him no matter who they were, and I started to live my life for what is in Heaven, not for earthly things.
On April 15th, 2017, I was baptized into the Catholic Church after two years of having a dream of being baptized. The baptism at the Easter Vigil was the greatest moment of my life, and there is nothing I would trade it away for.
I have recently started to become more involved in my local Church, and I am now interested in a trip to Haiti that the Church is putting together. The trip to Haiti consists of spending days with orphans, helping the elderly, and acting as models of Jesus Christ.
With your help and donations, it will be possible for me to travel to Haiti with my Church and spread the love of Jesus Christ to people who need it as much as anyone.
