Help Pauline

As some of you know, our beautiful Pauline has been sick in the hospital for the last two and a half weeks. While here, she has been diagnosed with Stage Four Metastatic Colon Cancer which has spread to her rectum and liver.
Pauline is also dealing with a severe infection in her abdomen which has kept her in the hospital since March 2nd, 2018. This infection will soon lead to a second surgery to clean out the infection and approximately four more weeks of antibiotics and rehab to get her strength back.
Pauline has expressed her desire to come back to Minnesota to be with family once she is able to leave the hospital. We are going to make this happen but need some help.
Pauline’s medical bills are building every day. We are working on getting her assistance but with the transfer from California to Minnesota this may prove to be difficult and she may have an extended waiting period.
We are also not willing to leave Pauline alone here in the hospital as her infection is very serious, as is her cancer. This means lots of flights, car rentals, hotel stays, and renting a vehicle to get all of her beautiful artwork and belongings back home to Bemidji.
Any help that anyone can give would be appreciated more than we could ever express.
