A shining light - Gone too soon
David Alexander Nix passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2020. David touched every single person he met in some way. His joy for life, music, laughter, fun and selfies was truly contagious. For those who loved him, our lives are better for knowing him. He never met a stranger and challenged the people around him to live vibrant lives by his example. David made a huge impact on the people around him and loved his community. When he passed, he had just over a year of sobriety which was a precious landmark for David and his family.
David's Frederick family wants to help with David’s final expenses. This fundraiser will help the family with any expenses they will incur during this time and for a Celebration of Life at a later date. All remaining funds will be donated to James Place, Inc., a non-profit that provides funding for people leaving treatment and needing $$ for sober living rent expenses. We thank you for your love and concern at this difficult time.
