Memorial Scholarship

Hello Family & Friends,

I am Rob’s youngest daughter and am reaching out to share with you an opportunity close to our family's heart for our father and students in need.

John “Bullet” Maffeo, David Hale, and Kevin Parker, with the help of Nichols College Athletic Bison Blitz have started an endowment that will serve as the scholarship in Rob's name within Nichols College for students in need.

Donations can be made to the Nichols College Men’s Ice hockey team through the Bison Blitz and state within the donation that it is made “In Memory of Rob Hirsch”. Incredibly, for each $1 donated, a couple of Trustees of the school will match the donation.

The donation goes directly to the ice hockey team, and the hockey program can decide where the use of the funds. We will also know the total amount donated in Rob’s name. Once we reach $35,000 in donations “In Memory of Rob Hirsch” the scholarship in his name will be created.

Attached is the link to the website where the donations can be made. The contributions must be submitted by 9/30/2022- so don’t hesitate!
