<div>Dear Friends and Neighbours,

<div>Our names are Elisa Ladouceur and Angelica Jones, and we are reaching out to you today to help support Grayson and his family. Elisa is Stephanie Ladouceur’s sister, and I, Angelica have been one of Stephanie’s closest friends since childhood.
</div>
<div>Stephanie and Matthew Patton’s son Grayson, an 11-year-old boy who suffers from vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a genetic disorder that causes fragile blood vessels and organs, recently suffered a life-threatening aneurysm that ruptured his right subclavian artery. Thankfully, he received emergency surgery at CHU Sainte-Justine in Montreal and is currently receiving the best care possible in intensive care surrounded by his loving parents.

<div>He was so very lucky that an amazing nurse and emergency doctor at the BMP hospital in Cowansville were able to diagnose this quickly and provide immediate care that enabled Grayson to be transferred to CHU Saint Justine in Montreal. We would like to try to raise some money for his parents in this time of need. With a younger child at home and the holiday season quickly approaching, having to have one of the parents in Montreal to be near Grayson and one at home with his brother and working full time is extremely difficult emotionally and very costly.

<div>Anything will help with travel costs back and forth from home to Montreal, hotel costs (they are currently renting a hotel room), missing workdays for both parents, food costs while away from home and city parking.
</div>
<div>The road they have very suddenly been having to find a way to navigate is not an easy one and very costly. This is a family who has always been ready to give a helping hand to anyone who needs it and are the kindest and generous people I know.
</div>
<div>Life has thrown them a curveball none of us would ever want to experience these last few days, and we would like to help make things a little easier on the parents of Grayson and Lochlan. We are asking for our community to help support them, every little bit would be so much appreciated. Words could not describe our gratitude for any and all support and if you can’t donate even a prayer for Grayson is more than enough!

<div>We would also like to add that while Stephanie, Grayson’s mom is staying in Montreal, his dad Matthew Patton will return back home this weekend December 15 to care for their younger child Lochlan and return to work and will also need much support from all of us as well. We would like to thank you all so very much from the bottom of our hearts for helping this truly amazing family in their time of need.
