Veterinary School Help

Donation protected
My sister, Katerina, has had a dream to become a veterinary doctor for many years. She has worked multiple jobs (as many as 3) at a time in order to save up money to minimize the cost of vet school. She has been accepted at Ross University to start in January 2016. Katerina has been scrambling since recieving her acceptance at the beginning of this week on December 7, 2015 to get all of her supplies and paperwork in order to leave before her first semester begins. Last night she went to purchase the necessary technology requirements the school listed in the information packet. She got her brand new macbook pro and ipad, and was very excited, to be well on her way.
Unfortunately, there are some very unkind people in this world, especially now around the holidays. Her purchases were in the car, parked in front of my parents driveway for 5 minutes while she went inside to ask for help. In those 5 minutes, someone shattered the car window and stole her recent purchases. Typically we would take this in stride, it isn't the end of the world we will find a solution. However, when calling the credit card company, after filing the police report, they will not help. To them it doesn't matter that the items were stolen within hours of being purchased. Katerina will still have to pay for the cost of those items, on top of the replacements she will now need to purchase.
We are begging for help in order to minimize these extra costs. Unfortunately our parents are retired, and cannot really afford to purchase replacements. As of right now my sister will have to pay double the cost of the items which will take up almost the entire savings that she has put together the past 3 years. Any little bit counts! It  would go a long way towards helping her finally attain her ultimate goal. It has been a long arduous path to get where she is, and it will only get tougher as she strives to succeed in the difficult classes at vet school. The schools requires a certain level of technology and without it she would be at a disadvantage. Again, we are asking for as much help as possible while we struggle with these extra unexpected costs on top of tuition and travel. We would be eternally grateful for your assistance in helping Katerina make her dreams a reality!
