HELP US FEED OUR ANIMALS

Donation protected
Want to help us make a difference and help us to care for some very special animals during this crisis? Im raising money to help Feral - Wild Animal Project our rare & endangered species conservation centre survive the Coronavirus situation and any donations will help care for and feed the animals during this time. Thanks in advance for any contributions to this cause.

We have lived and breathed this project since we started it, and we have never had to ask for anyones help before until this current crisis. But the current situation has meant our support income has simply stopped.  We look after and study the World's largest population of endangered Malagasy carnivores outside of Madagascar, we are also part of a number of conservation breeding programs in and ex situ. We also care for a number of rare carnivores such as Clouded Leopards, Cheetah, Spotted Hyena and Sun Bears. We also look after various primates and various rare birds such as Great Hornbill, Cassowary and King Vulture. We care deeply about these animals and the project and not it means we cant do that alone.

Our project also takes part in and carries out various overseas rescue and conservation projects and the current crisis is severely hindering our important work in that area. In the recent past we have assisted in the rescue of Sun Bears in Asia and endangered carnivores in Madagascar amongst other projects and very much hope to carry this work on long term with your help.

We are located in beautiful rural countryside in Cornwall which is a really natural and peaceful place for our animals to live. We succesfully breed many rare and endangered species including  Clouded Leopards a notoriously difficult and shy species to maintain and care for. We have had the worlds first succesful breeding of the endangered Grandidier's Vontsira, and also the first birth of Javan Yellow Throated Marten outside of Indonesia amongst other notable achievements.

We are not currently eligible for any of the current grants being handed out by the Government so we are stuck in a very hard place. It costs us over £3,000 a week to feed and care for the animals and do not want to have to close our centre, especially after creating a special place that is about to open its doors for educational study and tours, which will enable us to to further assist in the conservation of the animals we work with here. We were in the process of applying for charitable status but that is now waiting until this situation is over.
So hence our plea for your help and assistance.

We have set up this go fund me page to help contribute to the welfare and upkeep of our animals here and are trying to ensure that everything we look after is cared for correctly during this time that is why we are asking for your help. If you can help us in any way we would be extremely grateful and I know the animals under our care would be too. We are determined to beat the Covid-19 pandemic and safeguard the welfare and lives of our animals to the best possible standards.
Please assist us if you can.

FOR EXAMPLE:

£15 Feeds 2 Sun Bears for a day
£5 Feeds a Cheetah, Clouded Leopard or Hyena for a day
£10 Feeds a pair of Cassowary for a day
£5 Feeds a pair of Lemurs for a day
£15 A day is needed to cover the cost of Vitamin and Mineral Supplements for all our animals
£175 A week is needed for our weekly Veterinarian visits to check on our animals welfare.

Many Thanks in Advance
