This is Unbelievably Humbling..
My name is Jen. Next to me in the photo is my Husband Terry. The photo-one of many snipets captured on Our Wedding. Behind us is the water that Orchestrated our "I Dos"...In front of us...God and Family, an array of Love. Our Vows mostly said through our eyes. My eyes still Genuine but increasingly showing the sickness my body has.
I have a diseased organ and am currently waiting for a liver transplant at Avera hospital campus in Sioux Falls, SD. I have been away from home for 5 weeks now. The Dr's need me here for immediate surgery for when an organ becomes available.
This was extremely awkward to set up a fund for myself.
When I look.. I see so much Love & Support from Terry's Family & Mine. When I look deeper I see struggle (however masked) in the eyes of those so Dear to me...
I have to have someone with me at all times. My Dad Roger travels here to be with me during the week. My Husband who is picking up extra shifts at work, travels here from Fargo, ND on weekends. My Mother Betty (who should be retired) is retaining her small cleaning business with help from my Sisters Laurie , Missy & Nephew Nick to clean (all have their own full time jobs.) My Dad then travels back home from Sioux Falls, SD to Grand Forks, ND on weekends after being with me to see my Mom and..clean. Not to mention the work in life itself. Terry's brother Wayne & Wife Julene, who live here in Sioux Falls have been a Gracious and added support.
I am extremely blessed to be able to stay at Walsh Family Village at a reduced rate due to patient & community donations. However, my medical bills, fuel, living expenses, & time lost is getting eerie.
My goal is to be healthy, self sufficient & emloyable again.
So I guess along with many bumps Terry, myself, & Family have to face, funding all this is a reality so harsh.
I'm having to ask the Public extremely Graciously for Help. I'm asking God to help make everything & Everyone OKAY.
My Husband has Loved & Lost a wife already (due to cancer). He's tired & I cannot exhaust him. I'm not trying to "Author" a sad story. I just need help in scripting an alleviating ending for Many. This possible with your help in my own unintending lack of contribution. Again, this is painfully awkward.
This time of year there are many important days recognized. I want to convey well wishes on days that are meaningful to All.
