I began this fund to assist one of my dear friends and co-workers, David Edwards. David currently serves as the Registrar at Nelson University in Waxahachie, TX. Tonya teaches at Mercy Prep, and Madison is a sophomore at Texas A&M.

David has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The tumor is a type of cancer called CNS Lymphoma. He is undergoing treatment at Baylor Scott & White Pickens Cancer Center in Dallas. David will need several rounds of chemo, which will require a 2-3 day stay every two weeks. David will undergo 5-6 of these treatments as part of his current treatment plan.

While we know God is a supernatural healer, and we firmly believe in everyday miracles, we understand the difficulty of having to put your life on hold while you get treatment. We also all know the outrageous costs of medical care, even with insurance. Trying to stay positive and rest your body is tough when you know you are faced with potentially mind-numbing debt over a life-saving treatment.
