My name is Brie Lloyd
I am raising funds to further my training for Mercy Ministry with the organization Youth With A Mission!
I'm going to Worcester South Africa, to study counseling with the University of The Nations
It is an intensive 6 month school, training and equipping students to be effective inter-cultural counselors. The school is designed to establish personal healing and growth while teaching basic counseling and communication techniques to extend help and healing to those who need it.
All funds will go to the leacture phase, boarding, food and the outreach phase of the school.
I am leaving in 1 month, on January 7th 2018!
School duration: January 12 - June 24th 2018
April 2018 is the deadline to have all my finances in.

Imagine living in a world where your surrounded by violence- at home, at school, and the streets you walk daily. Your only resource for help is as corrupt as the gangs that run your town. Hope comes from foreign hands squeezing through a cracked car widow, droping some guilt soaked change into your desperate and weary hands. You wonder if there is any hope of a better life...
Sadly, this is the harsh reality for some of the people of South Africa. There are little resources to help those who have endured the hardships and traumas from a broken world. Thankfully there are a few organizations who have been fighting against these social injustices, among the few is YWAM Worcester.
VISION
My vision is to see the rejected and forgotten people reclaimed as worthy and validated through the wholeness of ethical counseling.
MISSION
My mission is long term investment and commitment, where people are heard and challenged to grow. I desire to cultivate a community where vulnerability and healing is encouraged and valued.
With this vision and the experience the school will proivde, I hope to be apart of the healing process of hurting and broken people!
