Kerala Flood Relief Fundraiser

My name is Karen and I am a 17 year old high school student, hoping to help my hometown along with my church- Masihi Mandir- located in Edison, New Jersey.

We are a small church  wanting to help our fellow brothers and sister in Christ in Kerala, India, who are under unprecedented siege of rains and flooding.  This is the worst rains seen in over a century! The heavy rains have caused landslides and 33 dams have been opened as they could not bear the strain of the waters leading to flooding. 

Danny Solomon, the beneficiary of the account has  family members who are currently helping with relief efforts. In particular, his uncle in Kerala is actively providing shelter as well as food and other required materials for those who are suffering.  All of the money collected will be sent to Danny's uncle in Kerala and be used for the rescue and rehabilitation process of those affected.

Houses have been flooded, electricity has been shut down, lives have been lost and thousands displaced. The money will be used to provide shelter, medicines and valuable humanitarian services to those affected.
