help Sam get top surgery!

my name is Sam, and i am a 26 year old trans man living in seattle--the green-haired guy on the left. i moved here for two reasons: to start a new life together with my partner, and to start a gender transition i'd been putting off for about a decade.

i've been on testosterone for a year since moving here, and i'm happier with my body than i ever have been, but there is one last big transition hurdle i need to conquer:

MY CHEST.

it's big, it's huge, binding it comfortably or effectively is almost impossible, and it causes me constant pain, both physically and emotionally. it has to go, and it has to go as soon as possible.

happily, i have a consultation for double incision mastectomy on august 11th, 2020!

i am setting my fund goal at $4500, which will cover the surgery itself after insurance and help me out a little bit with missed work--i have a pretty physically demanding job so i may have to miss a few weeks to recover fully. 

i deeply appreciate any help that you can offer, even if it's just sharing the link to this fund...this surgery will literally change my entire quality of life.
