Help Charles Get Healthy

Donation protected
Final? Update (6/14/18): After a visit to the pet hospital, it turns out the little dude most likely has allergies and needs a new diet. It starts Monday! Thank you again to everyone who helped out during this six month process and figuring out what the heck was going on. We appreciate everything you all have done. It's time to officially close down this GoFundMe. Spread your love to others, cat people! Thank you. Update 2: (4/27/18) Charles had his second surgery today. I pick him up tomorrow afternoon. The surgeon said it went okay, but he had swollen lymph nodes in his neck. She took them out and took a culture and it'll be back in about a week. Update: (4/4/2018) Charles got an infection after his first surgery. After that, the antibiotic he was put on made him lose his appetite. Appetite stimulant pills and anti nausea pills weren't working. He went and had to stay the night at the animal hospital after not eating for a few days. They took blood and he has an different infection in his blood now. The visit there and then the one day of IV fluids was a $600. It's looking like I'm going to have to take him back to the vet for another day of fluids. If you all could keep sharing, I would appreciate it. He still has another $2,000 surgery once we finally get through all of this. Charles has been on a variety of antibiotics over the past three months. The vet looked in his ears for polyps, but didn't find any there. After going through all the easy options, and the options my vet could do herself, she referred me to a specialist so he could have a CAT scan and surgery done. It's most likely that he has a polyp in an area she cannot get to. If the polyp isn't found and treated, it will continue to grow and cause Charles more harm. I adopted him at the beginning of December. He's a sweet six-year-old cat with a cleft lip and a loud purr. The estimate for the CT alone was given to me at $2,000-$2,500. The surgery was then estimated to be another $2,000-$2,500. Since I adopted him, I've spent about $800 on vet visits and medication. Any amount or share would be appreciated. I'm just a full time student with a part time job. Charles is congested, sneezing, tilting his head, has uneven pupils, and is completely off balance when not on antibiotics. Please help me get to the bottom of what's causing my cat so much trouble.
