<div><strong>How will my donation be used?</strong>
</div>
<div>Your donation will provide the gift of free, new, and current books to our
</div>
<div>students with emotional disabilities and autism at The Foundation Schools
</div>
<div>Holiday Book Fair, hosted December 11-15, 2023.
</div>
<div><strong>Who will my donation benefit?</strong>
</div>
<div>Students with emotional disabilities in grades K-8 at The Foundation
</div>
<div>School in Largo, MD and The Foundation School of Montgomery County in
</div>
<div>Gaithersburg, MD, and students with autism at The Foundation Learning
</div>
<div>Center in Landover, MD.
</div>
<div><strong>Why should I donate to the Holiday Book Fair Drive?</strong>
</div>
<div>The Foundation Schools is a collection of four K-12 nonprofit schools that
</div>
<div>provide a specialized learning environment for children with emotional
</div>
<div>disabilities, autism, and social, emotional, and learning challenges. 80% of
</div>
<div>our students live in low-income homes and many more come from
</div>
<div>disadvantaged families, so their parents do not have the financial resources
</div>
<div>to pay for books or support PTA-type fundraising. Therefore, the funding of
</div>
<div>the Holiday Book Fair depends on your efforts.
</div>
<div><strong>What kind of books will my donation fund?</strong>
</div>
<div>The books provide recreational reading as a supplement to instruction. The
</div>
<div>more fun our students have reading, the more likely they are to improve
</div>
<div>their reading skills. Student favorite books include Diary of a Wimpy Kid,
</div>
<div>Dog Man, Plants vs. Zombies, Pokemon and Lego characters, cars,
</div>
<div>technology, and superheroes.
</div>
