Family looses everything in fire

A 62-year old man, his wife and their 11-year old daughter were displaced today after a devastating house fire. They had lived there for at least 15 years. The family is safe, but they have lost everything.
The Redondo Beach Fire Chief has estimated monetary damages at about $150,000 - $250,000 to the structure and $100,000 to its contents.
They will be living out of a hotel and while this is sorted out they will need everything replaced for everyday living such as clothes, school supplies, etc.
For those of you that wish to donate clothing items, etc. we are accepting them at a home one house south of the fire site: 1622 Harper Ave., Redondo Beach 90278
