Funeral Expenses for Pops

October 10, 2018 was devastating to millions of people.  It was especially devastating to our family and community not just by the catastrophic Hurricane that wreaked havoc on our neighbors but because we lost one hell of a man.

Kenneth William Snyder lost his battle with Huntington's Disease on 10-10-2018 @ 12:23pm in Pensacola, FL.  Huntington's Disease is a degenerative neurological disease, and terminal.  There is NO CURE.

Ken went to Saratoga Springs High School he graduated in 1982 and joined the US Air Force.  In 1983 he married his best friend Colleen and she birthed their son, Joshua, in 1986 and their daughter, Nicole, in 1994.  They enjoyed 30 years together and still remained friends until his last day.

In 2012 Ken was forced into early retirement due to his diagnosis of Huntington's.  He moved to Florida to live with Josh, his sister Nicole joined them in November 2015 along with her husband, Thomas.

Ken was a lover of all things sports related.  He loved to watch his son play softball, and both of his kids bowl. He could recite any sport fact to you at the drop of a hat and he adored the Dallas Cowboys & NY Yankees.

There is not a soul that met Ken that did not instantly feel connected to him.  He touched all of our lives. He was always smiling, always excited and giving everyone a thumbs up.  He was incredibly proud of both of his children and his precious grandson.

It is with great sadness that he is physically no longer here us but he will forever live on in memory in our hearts.  We take comfort in knowing that he is now pain free and living his best life with our Lord in heaven.  Watching over all of us.

My name is Taylor and I am his son, Joshua's fiance. We are asking for your help during this difficult time to ease the financial burden for the family.  All donations will go towards funeral expenses to give him the proper memorial that he undoubtedly deserves.  All donations will be received by his son Joshua.  We would like to thank everyone  who has been with us, reached out to us, and kept our family in our prayers.  If you have any questions please contact me.

He is survived by his son, Joshua Snyder (his fiance Taylor and their children: Mason, Leighton, Addison, Easton and a future grandson due in Jan 2019) his daughter Nicole Brundige, Thomas Brundige, his brother Kevin (his wife Pat and their children Christopher (his wife Crystal their children Damien & Neveah) Alyssa, Katie and Jennifer and their children) Laurie Flinton, and his brother Keith & (his wife Valerie and their children Keith Jr and Brandon)
