On March 3rd, 2025, Bethany faced an unimaginable tragedy. After returning to work just six weeks following the birth of her son, Liam, she was on her way to a doctor’s appointment when disaster struck. While driving, Bethany’s tire blew, causing her to lose control of the vehicle and crash into a semi-truck. Tragically, the accident took the life of her and Cody’s precious son, Liam, and left Bethany with significant injuries.

As a mother who had already sacrificed so much, including the absence of paid maternity leave, this heart-wrenching accident has turned Bethany and Cody’s world upside down. She is now not only grieving the loss of her child but also facing a long road to recovery from her own injuries.
