Bring Polaris Home

Polaris stayed with us, at Lucky Puppy, for a few months in 2014. His mother went to Italy to study and needed a safe place for Polaris until he could join her.  Once she was able to secure her visa and found a place to reside, she immediately made arrangements for Polaris to join her.  They spent time in Italy together and were blissfuly happy.  Due to unforseen circumstances, they had to return to Mom's home of Saudia Arabia.  Polaris, a Tornjak, is not handling the heat well. He has had 3 heat strokes and the veterinarian has warned Mom that Polaris' chances of living through a 4th heat stroke are extremely slim.  As you can see, Polaris is very fluffy and would do better in the Arctic air rather than 120-140° heat. Mom has reached out to Lucky Puppy for help!  She loves Polaris so much that she can not risk losing him to the heat.  She asked us if there was anything we could do to help.  She wanted him to live his days out at Lucky Puppy but my husband vetoed that decision.  Therefore, Mom has agreed to allow us to foster him until we can find him the perfect home.  She trusts us completely.  We are committed to raise enough funds to bring Polaris home before the extreme summer heat hits Saudi Arabia.  Temperatures are expected to exceed 100° by the end of April.
