The last ride for Lee

It is with great sadness that we are sharing this news but as some of you may know we lost our wonderful Lee in a motorbike accident on the 24th June 2021.

Lee wasn’t a frilly person. He hated the idea of flowers, fuss or other extravagant things but we have had requests from Lee’s friends about contributing to the funeral and/or to Lee’s memory (which will be donations to the Stroke Association).

We’ve set the target of £1350 as it would pay for a motorbike to transport him to the crematorium, no biker wants their last ride to be in a car.

Lee’s Story

Lee was one of the most unique and perhaps unconventional people of the world. He had talent pouring out of his ears and could turn his hand to anything. But he was the poster boy of “work to live” and as long as he had his boat and his bike he didn’t want for any other material things. His spare time was used to enjoy his hobbies rather than being a slave to work much to the dismay of his family and friends who knew he could make a fortune if he wanted to!

He spent the last 5 years living on our Grandads yacht in Hull, enjoying the “Boat life” with his fiancé, family and friends. Being the free spirit he was he hated lockdown and after suffering his stroke in December he hated the months of recovery that followed. But being the machine he was he got there and got to spend time on his beloved boat Maric.
