Ashley's fight

“The Lord is my strength and song and He has become my Salvation.” (Psalm 118:14) What an amazing promise! Isn’t it comforting to know that through relationship and perseverance God demonstrates who He is both to us and through us in our everyday lives? Ashley Rodriguez has experienced this in her life and is now facing another opportunity for God’s faithfulness to be revealed. The obstacle in front of her is leukemia, however, the God that is in her is faithful. As a family we are reaching out to those who would be willing to come along side of us and show support for Ashley. Already many caring and loving people have made their desire to be a blessing known and we humbly appreciate every one of you. With regard to the need: First, and most importantly, we ask for your prayers. Second, we are asking for financial assistance to help cover expenses needed that enable family to be with Ashley in this difficult time. Her work with Angeles Temple in Los Angeles, CA has taught her to lean on God and draw her strength
from Him. We want to thank Angeles Temple for their love and support for Ashley in this time. The next several weeks will be crucial to her recovery and the holiday season has its challenges as well. Ashley had already booked and paid for her flight to be with family here in Lubbock this Christmas. Unfortunately these are non- refundable or transferable tickets. This is why it is our heart to bring the family to Ashley for Christmas. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover a modestly priced room near the hospital and minimal daily expenses for the immediate family that will be there in the coming weeks. We are scheduling at least one person to be with Ashley as support through this process. We are believing to raise $7,500.00 and we know that with your generosity this is attainable.
