The BIG move

I know this is Go-Fund-Me but this case is more like Go-Fund-Us, us being my family. I’m a single dad of 2 teenage boys. The quick backstory is I adopted my 2 youngest nephews out of the foster system when they were 2 & 4…now 16 & 18. My oldest falls under the Autistic spectrum and just graduated HS this year. I share the graduation year for I will be graduating with honors while obtaining my Bachelor’s degree. A couple years ago I lost my job after my vehicle died. It was not a job that allowed me to save anything. I knew I must finish my bachelor’s degree and make a better life for my family…so I did. Now we are in to bigger and better things. We will be relocating to California (Berkeley I where my school is located) while I obtain my master’s degree. Joshua will go to a community college and Dakota will finish HS (a sophomore in the fall). We have a vision for the move we just need the funds to make it happen. I have done the math and looks like we will need to raise $7500 here to make it happen. That will cover the cost of the actual move (truck/gas/ etc.) as well the cost of moving into a place (1st/deposits/utilities/etc.). After the Pulse Nightclub tragedy here in Orlando I knew there is no time to waste in life. When you know something needs to happen you need to do it now and not put life on hold. I know this move is what is best for us as a family as well as individuals. This is a time sensitive issue being school starts in August for Joshua and myself and we have to be out of current home near Orlando in August as well.
