Help A Veteran Owned Business Grow!

Hi! We are Dan and Krystal and we are both United States Army veterans and co-owners of Tactical Fitness. We started this company in 2021 to try and help people learn to use fitness and yoga to better their lives and help with any and every goal that they have.

When we started this, we were TINY! We started with a very small amount of equipment and a trailer that we took to client's houses. Since then, we have grown to having a dedicated yoga and fitness studio, we have an amazing base of athletes and we are here every day to help anyone who needs us.

In our journey, we have moved into Valley West Mall in West Des Moines, Iowa. This was the initial right move to keep our business progressing forward. We have been here for a little over a year. The mall has changed hands multiple times and unfortunately this caused a multitude of issues. As well as infrastructure issues. We had to come in on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day due to pipes bursting and flooding (thank you to our AMAZING friends and family who gave up their holiday to help with cleanup), on to more pipes bursting, floods, leaks, broken pipes, an AC that hasn't worked in over a year, an unusable toilet in one of our spaces (all of which we are kind of just stuck with).

We're at a point where we can no longer expand our services with in the space without push back. And the continuous issues with the space causing us to fall short of being able to provide our clients with the best possible experience.

This brings us to now, we are having to move in the next couple of months. We have found a place (hopefully), that works for what we need and is still convenient for our athletes. This is where this comes in. The move is going to cost us and we just don't have it right now as this was pretty unexpected. If you are still reading, here is where we want to detail out specifically how these funds will be used.

For $10,000 we will be putting down payments and first month rent on the new building (totaling between 6-8k). We will use the rest to advertise and set up the new space.

We know, this is a big ask and we wouldn't be coming here if we didn't have to. We want to keep doing what we do. We want to keep helping people and keep building this incredible community. We love and appreciate you all.
