No One Fights Alone

One of our beloved family members, Sal Vacirca, has recently been diagnosed with glioblastoma.

Sal has been employed by Palm Beach State College for the last 7 years and is a loving husband to Amy and the father of six kids. Sal has been helping to coach the Stoneman Douglas softball team for 2 years and has led them to numerous accolades.

A few weeks ago he was doing chores around the house while never knowing things would be changing in a matter of days. He would be facing a life threatening challenge that was clearly unplanned for. He underwent a craniotomy 2 weeks ago and the surgeon was able to remove a good portion of the brain tumor. While we were Blessed that surgery was a success, Sal was left without complete feeling or movement in his right leg and hand. He is currently undergoing intense physical therapy and has made progress. He will be meeting with the oncologist next week to figure out the next course of action to do battle against this dreadful disease.

Sal will be out of work for a number of months and we all know too well that medical bills will begin to pile up while income will all but stop coming in. We are asking for your generous support during these difficult times to help in any you can.  Sal is willing, ready, and able to put up the fiercest battle against this disease but is asking for our help during these difficult times. Our family would appreciate your help  in anyway you can?
