Charity White Collar Boxing
Donation protected
A few weeks before the new year I started thinking of new ways that I could challenge myself in 2018. One of the ideas I had, however mad it may seem, was to challenge myself to have a white collar boxing fight. I signed up for a fight with Cheshire White Collar Boxing. I will be fighting at an event taking place at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester on 24th March. I am 4 weeks into my training and have another 4 weeks to go. So far the training has been tough, challenging, and excruciating at times, but it has also been enjoyable and a worth while experience .
The charity I have chosen to represent is the East Cheshire Hospice. The East Cheshire Hospice is a charity that cares for people suffering from life-limiting illnesses. They provide expert medical treatment aiming to improve overall quality of life with practical assistance, emotional and spiritual support. All of their services of free of charge, however only 17% of their funding is from the government and the remainder is donated in by the communities. It is a charity that is very close to my family and a charity that my Mum is very passionate about when it comes to fundraising. I want to be able to use this challenge to encourage people to donate on behalf of myself getting punched in the face! Not only that, but also raise a good amount of money and awareness for a great charity.
If you're donating in the hope that I get knocked out, or you just want to be a nice person, then any size of donation is welcome and will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your support and I will let you know how I got on after the event
Thanks,
Matt.
