Please Help Hannah

Many of you have already met our are amazing daughter Hannah. Many of  you have prayed and touched her life and her families in all the health obstacles she has faced. Here we are again needing prayers and support more than ever. Many of you  know that Hannah’s been fighting an infection in her heel and bone for the past 1 1/2 years. We have been trying to get it under control. She has had multipal surgery's over this infection and in and out of multiple hospitals for different treatments but we have also been turned down by many hospitals. For this extensive  heel surgery that hannah needs. During this process last week Hannah was taken by ambulance with lights and sirens. Leading up to this we thought Hannah was just experiencing flu like symptoms but no fever. A few days went by she was not eating or drinking much with signs of being very tired and not herself. She was getting worse.  Thursday evening she became very lethargic not knowing her own name, where she was, who her dog was and even her own mother. She started breathing very hard and  heavy  and we called 911. When taken in the ambulance Hannah was going into the first stage of cardiac arrest. From that point on she no longer was responsive, she didn’t open her eyes or talk. When she arrived at the hospital the tests, pokes and scans started. She had multiple EKG’s cat scans ect. She was pretty much in a mini coma. This continued for about 24 hours With not any response. About 4:30 am she started to shake and have  seizure like symptoms.  She started opening her eyes and trying to say some memories from the following day but showing signs of confusion still  and memory loss. They started on her  anabiotic‘s for bacterial meningitis  to be safe until they received more results. She was hooked up to an EEG for 24 hours and was showing signs of parts of her brain misfiring causing the mini seizures. Because Hannah has spinal bifida they were unable to get spinal fluid without a huge risk and then needing to take it from her brain. Day by day she is getting better but still having seizure activity. Children’s has been trying to get us to a hospital to get A foot flap needed. It looks like they will be transferring Hannah from here to the University of San Francisco if they except her we will be there. For 2 to 3 weeks for this surgery and healing time with extensive wound care. I know most of you know how crazy our lives have been these past few years in and out of the hospital and away from each other for long periods of time and still trying to juggle Regular life things. My only job this year is taking care of Hannah and with John being laid off from construction right before Christmas really hurt us. regular life things. My only job this year is taking care of Hannah and with John been laid off from construction right before Christmas really hurt us We are trying really hard to stay positive but we have fallen very far behind. Thank God our landlords have worked with us  but are in desperate need of prayers and financial help. We have been trying to get my blazer up and running for over a year now and John’s truck is our only vehicle for a family of five it has over 300,000 miles on it and bald tires. Our taxes will help  us get caught up but we are still in need of help and with the next hospital stay and being far away from home I’m afraid we or even going to fall more behind. We are hoping that our family, friends and community can help us through this very hard difficult time. Thank you so much!
