Hurricane ETA - Honduras

2020 has not been an easy year for the whole world, many countries have been affected by COVID-19, but now a Central American country asks for your help since it has been affected by a global economic crisis and a devastating hurricane in part of its rural and urban cities, leaving a lot of people on the street and with nothing.

One of the fiercest storms to hit Central America in years, Eta struck Nicaragua as a category 4 hurricane on November 3, with winds of 150 miles per hour(241kph) before weakening as it moved inland and into neighbouring Honduras.

In northwestern, Central and southern Honduras high winds and heavy rain have damaged thousands of homes forcing people to take cover in shelters. flooding part of the Sula valley, among them, family houses, micro companies, export companies, crop bosses, Villeda Morales Airport and damages throughout the country. where Honduran families were most affected, mentioning that Honduras is a country where 22.9 percent of its population lives in extreme poverty (less than a dollar a day per person) and 48.3 percent in poverty (a little more than a dollar up to date )being one of the poorest countries in America.


We seek your help to be able to share vital supplies to all Honduran who have been affected by the hurricane. Your donation will be given directly to low-income families who have lost everything in the central part of the country, Comayagua and Santa Cruz de Yojoa.
