HELP & SUPPORT FOR MOM CHIARA

I am asking for support for my mom, Chiara. 

In the beginning of 2019, my Dad, Pino, went to the ER for severe stomachaches that just would not go away. After some investigating, a tumor was discovered on his liver. Pino was never been able to get any surgery, and the tumor never went away. He had to attend many different doctor appointments for analysis and identification. After some doctors looked into his case, it was determined that my Dad’s tumor was a metastatic cholangiocarcinoma. It is extremely aggressive, and Pino has started chemotherapy as his first step to fight this diagnosis. 

In November 2020 he got really worst and he’s been hospitalized in the hospice. Back then we got really lucky, after few weeks the hospice doctor told us he was doing a little bit better and he got to go back home. Back to his wife. Back to his “normal” life. Believe me, that was a MIRACLE. 

Sadly, a week ago he became worst again and he went back to the hospice. 

This time he is didn’t make it. He left us last night (March 1st 2021). 

Here I am... I just opened this page because from the bottom of my heart, I just want to help my sweet Mom. 

The Woman of my life. 

She is a very young Mom, we grew up like sisters (only 18years apart). 

We’ve been through a lot together and when things just started to get better in our lives, we had this bad news regarding my dad, her loved husband. 

We’ve been fighting with my dad’s health conditions since 2018, when he first was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome and it took about a year to get better. Right after that we found out about his liver tumor, on February 2019. 

They have been really tough years, they spent a lot of their savings to get to afford many different therapies and medicines for Pino.

We’ve never been very lucky in this life time. Life always challenged us, especially the last past three years. 

I’ll be FOREVER thankful to my parents for everything they’ve always done for me, even when there was no hope at the end of the day. 

And now I feel like it’s time for me to “exchange” the favor. 

My Mom still will be around, still will be facing thousands and thousands of difficulties and ‘NO’ days, but I want to at least give her the chance to move in the house she was planning to move together with my Dad. 

I appreciate any support you can contribute to Pino and his family, especially his wife (my Mom), Chiara.

My goal is to help my Mom pay off her first house mortgage and have the chance to move to a new place and make her start a new, and hopefully, better life. 

Without the worry of mortgage payments and to keep her close family (my sister and I) comfortable and healthy. 

I know many have been financially affected by COVID-19, and even if you cannot support this cause financially, we would love for you to help us spread the word and share on social media. Every little bit counts and I really really thank you from the bottom of my heart!
