Saving nyc cats

I have been working deligently over the last few years to save as many cats and kittens as I can.  They come to me from all over the city and even New Jersey with a variety of needs and ailments. I do TNR (trap neuter release) for those who are too wild to rehabilitate. Those who have hope for a home or that are very sick, I try to find homes or sanctuary for.  These are all poor street cats who did not ask for the life they have and are often suffering from eye infections, fleas, respiratory infections, torture by humans and bites from other animals. 
Sending a cat to a good sanctuary takes money. Understandable, as they will be caring for the cat for the rest of its life. I have the opportunity to send six cats to a sanctuary but I will need funds for it. These are cats that could not return to where they were trapped because it simply was not safe for them.
I have another young kitten that will need an eye enucleation, if he makes it. 
I have people begging me to take cats every day.  I simply do not have the money to do it all, just the heart to want to help.

If you are able to contribute a few dollars, it helps. If you are able to provide a foster home, it helps. If you are able to adopt, it helps.  If you know of someone with an empty garage who would me to use it, it helps. If you are simply able to spread the word, it helps.

This kitten season has hit us rescuers incredibly hard. We are trying to save as many as we can but we need help!
