Medical debt

We all have been struggling to pay off all of our debt . Which makes this incredibly hard for me to ask for help.  I am chronically ill, majority of you know I have been a diabetic since I was 3 years old. I also have gastroparesis (basically my stomach is paralyzed) and due to the lack of nutrients, I was having fainting spells. At one point, I fainted while getting something from the kitchen. I broke my knee cap and my retina detached in my right eye. I am now blind out of that eye.  Due to that and the lack of proper care (definitely on my part) and fluctuating insulin prices and, test strips. I just couldn't do it and now I am here. More and permanently sick. My medical bills are above and beyond my goal. Which I am definitely not expecting to meet, but every little bit would greatly help. I really thought I wasn't going to make it there for the 3 brutal years of being bed ridden. In a way I dropped all my worries that didnt involve my health.  I cannot work at the moment and I am on disability. I would give anything to work, have a normal life; thankfully I have made moves to continue on and I am very grateful for it. The checks are barely cutting it for living costs. I am at my witts end trying to figure out how to buy the normal necessities after all my prescriptions and doctor visits. I have been blessed with my family helping me every which way possible. It has come to the point where they are falling behind on their responsibilities because I'm struggling. I am doing much better but with every hospital stay from the past to the future, I am getting further and further into a debt I cannot dig myself out of. A year ago I was in the hospital and they would not let me leave without a tube in my stomach due to my gastroparesis.  Although, that is exactly what I needed my insurance didnt think it was necessary. I continue to get bills for things I got such as a iv pole with a cost of 800 dollars because my insurance did not cover it; and unfortunately I never ordered but the doctor prescribed as a necessity. I am also welcoming any kind of techniques or advice as to what I can do to make this a lot less stressful. Its incredibly frustrating to want to work and it being physically impossible. I am extremely grateful for the help I have and continue to receive. Thank you so much for the kind words and gestures. You have no idea how much it helped me power through the first five years of this illness. I am adapting and I know things will work out how they need to work out.41456802_1566325343332559_r.jpeg
