GAME is the Global Alliance of Muslims for Equality

Last year with your help and donations,  GAME brought 48 Muslim youth together with their local community workers to Kippure Estate and Glencree Center for Peace and Reconciliation in Glencree, Ireland.

These youth came from the following cities are represented in GAME’s membership: Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, in Brussels;  Moabit-Berlin, Germany; Edmonton and East London, UK; Bobigny and Seine-Saint-Denis, Paris, France; Milan and Rome, Italy; Kacanik and Pristina, Kosovo; and Tirana, Albania.

A year ago at Glencree / Kippure Estate, they drew up a charter of rights.

For more information on GAME and to read GAME's charter of rights:

The charter sets out the values and aspirations they share collectively. These are all European values of inclusiveness.

This year they will meet at Glencree/ Kippure once again. This time they will organize the tasks ahead of them:  How to create global awareness of GAME; How to advocate on the charter's behalf & implement its principles; and much more.

We still need to raise 50K to cover the expenses of bringing this dynamic group of Muslim youth and community workers to Ireland.

Every contribution counts.

With your help we will meet this goal and with your help the youth will succeed.

Thank you,

Padraig

ABOUT GAME

GAME is an organization of young Muslims from across Europe founded on the principle that Islam is a religion of peace. GAME advocates, through several projects and platforms, for the rights of Muslims in Europe.

GAME aims to create a movement led by and for young Muslims to collectively tell their stories, lift up their voices, and improve the situations of fellow Muslims in Europe through advocacy.

GAME's mission is to change negative anti-Muslim narratives - Over 50 percent of the population in the EU see Islam as a threat to their values and ways of life.  Muslim youth are labeled “Islamic,” ‘Othered,” & treated as outsiders in the country of their birth.

GAME provides Muslim youth with a sense of belonging, collective community, and a cause greater than themselves.

Youth from the following cities are represented in GAME’s membership: Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, in Brussels;  Moabit-Berlin, Germany; Edmonton and East London, UK; Bobigny and Seine-Saint-Denis, Paris, France; Milan and Rome, Italy; Kacanik and Pristina, Kosovo; and Tirana, Albania.

Padraig O’Malley is the founding director of GAME, an author, editor, lecturer and social engineer. He is the founding director of the Forum for Cities in Transition, founding editor of the New England Journal of Public Policy, and the John Joseph Moakley Distinguished Professor of Peace and Reconciliation at the University of Massachusetts, Boston’s John W. McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies. O’Malley  is also the subject of a documentary by James Demo, The Peacemaker, a film about O’Malley’s 40+ years of work at the vanguard of peacemaking.
