Chesapeake Chocolates Expansion

Established in 1963, Lake Anne Village Center is the historic center of Reston, VA.  Chesapeake Chocolates, Inc ., located at Lake Anne for over eight years, is expanding to provide the community with additional services. Doris Tyler, the owner, has received support from the Lake Anne community to add services and has been working since to open the expanded Chesapeake Chocolates.


The inclusion of additional services will incur significant initial costs. Remodeling will be necessary and additional furnishings and infrastructure are also needed. Expenses, including employee salaries, rent, and utilities needed to operate the expanded facility will be paid by Chesapeake Chocolates.


Through Go Fund Me, Chesapeake Chocolates hopes to raise $7,500 to cover the costs of remodeling, the expense of hiring additional employees, and start-up costs related to the expansion. With the help and support of the community, we look forward to bringing additional services to Reston in February, 2016.  A small contribution from many will help add an important service to the village center and will serve the greater good of the community as a whole.
