Farm Fund

2020 has been an amazing year for the farm. We have partnered with other local farms and increased sales over 200%. However, our current field planting could not accommodate all the flower requests.

After eight years of looking for a permanent home for the flower farm, we are finally moving to 9 acres in Upper Marlboro, MD! This move will be a welcome respite from our current situation. We have two small flower fields, 25 minutes apart, and a third location that houses our walk-in cooler. It will be a true blessing to slowly integrate these locations to our permanent new home.

The property is a blank slate waiting to metamorphose into fields of flowers, fruits, herbs and shrubs.

We need your help to build some of the infrastructure for the farm. There is also a small house on the property that we will use to house our walk-in cooler and process flowers. It needs some TLC.

Now is the ideal time to set up some caterpillar tunnels, fencing, establish beds and lay irrigation, to get ready for the fall planting that will ensure a successful Spring harvest.

EcoBlossoms Farm Wish list:

$450 Irrigation
$1200 Fencing
$1500 Processing House Renovation
$400 Gravel driveway/parking
$1000 Caterpillar tunnel

There's a long list of needs and wants that comes with building a farm from scratch. Receiving support now to put in the farm's framework will establish the farm in time to assure a big fall planting. The fall planting is key to increasing our Spring blooms. This Spring, our plot was too small to accommodate the demand. Now we have the space and time to ensure an ample planting, but we need the base-work settled.

It would be a dream come true  to establish a beautiful flower farm where flower lovers can visit and learn sustainable growing methods. The new location will be able to accommodate a perennial nursery, classes, and flower events, as well as creating a base to collaborate with other local growers.

This farm means a great deal to me. Please consider donating and/or sharing this page with others. I thank you for all support, prayers, and well wishes.
