<div>Somos Erik, Jaime, Patricio, Pedro, Vika y Vicky, un grupo de estudiantes de 5to grado de escuela y nuestro proyecto escolar PYPx: “Vida debajo del Mar”, consiste en investigar y realizar acciones para recaudar fondos para ayudar a una fundación para proteger la vida marina.

<div>Actualmente, la vida marina se ve muy afectada por la contaminación, nuestros mares tienen alrededor de 5 islas de basura que en su mayoría son plásticos de todo tipo y otros contaminantes que llegan principalmente a los océanos a través de los ríos. Lamentablemente las tortugas se ven muy afectadas, ya que comen bolsas plásticas confundiéndolas con su alimento natural que son las medusas y mueren, además de otro tipo de incidentes por redes de pesca abandonadas, entre otros.

<div>Hemos identificado a <strong><em>Selva Negra</em></strong> que es una fundación ambiental mexicana sin fines de lucro, cuya misión es la conservación y el rescate del medio ambiente mediante el desarrollo comunitario. En el centro del concepto está la educación ambiental, alrededor de ella es posible conservar, rescatar y construir el progreso de la gente, involucrando a las comunidades en la conservación de sus recursos naturales y así generar una cultura de sustentabilidad.

<div>El programa insignia de <strong><em>Selva Negra </em></strong>es la conservación de las tortugas marinas en playas mexicanas, desde hace más de 25 años. Actualmente, mediante convenio con la Comisión Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas (CONANP), operan un campamento Tortuguero en Playa de las Tortugas en el estado mexicano de Nayarit (<a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/Txzx7qp5VSJ8ny8r8)" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/Txzx7qp5VSJ8ny8r8" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://maps.app.goo.gl/Txzx7qp5VSJ8ny8r8</a>)</a>

<div>Hasta la fecha se han liberado <strong>más 8 millones </strong>de crías de tortugas marinas.

<div>Con este proyecto se apoya a la reproducción y conservación de las tortugas marinas y además realiza acciones ambientales para preservar sus hábitats, conservación en playas de anidación, educación ambiental, concienciación de las comunidades.
