Thank You So Much

Many thanks to everyone who opened their hearts and helped us during our father's illness. He made it through the past year with his family at his side in large part thanks to your generosity. Now he is working on rebuilding his mobility and independence. He can't walk yet, but can use a wheelchair and stand with assistance. Recently he began to feel well enough to get back into reading, and has been plowing through paperback books. There are still frustrations and challenges ahead, but a good book, a good meal, and the love of family make it worth it—not to mention the profound kindness of strangers. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. xo
