On December 17th, Sadie was rushed to the emergency vet clinic for being very lethargic and having fluid in her uterus. After doing some bloodwork, she was diagnosed with Addison’s disease. She was being hospitalized and treated for that, but then after an ultrasound, Sadie also has Pyometra. This is requiring emergency surgery. We are currently hoping to raise funds to help cover these costs. With the two conditions, we are looking at $12-15k in vet bills. As most people know, I inherited Sadie from my mom when she passed away two years ago. My last words to my mom were, “Don’t worry, Mom. I got Sadie.” Now I have to make sure I really got her.
